this might be a stupid question but are there ever any other scout rooms, or always the 24/7 one? not that it matters! just wondering....

The gibson guitar room is apparently opening "soon". The 24/7 one will stay open forever.

Oh lordy, how to lose the will to live...I made 3 stars for ONE TRACK ONLY then seemed to be immediately bumped back down to two! I think it's because I've been treated to a morning of the mediocre, and seem to be stuck between 4 and 6...NOT my fault STP, gimme a break!!!:p

Well I suppose i had get some some Major scouting done today if i want to with draw another £5 today... need to make about £3.22 i think today! so need to review about 41 tracks.

Fun Fun! I'm getting tired of listening to the Artists that only put a preview of there track up!! its so infuriating and really difficult to give a fair review on half a track!

You guys make a fiver a day? How do you do that? Do you review at 1 min and then move onto the next track? I think I may be doing something wrong, I set myself a goal of £15 a month, being 50p a day (I was on 2 stars when I started) but those 10 tracks were almost an hour of my time, with listening to the track then writing the review

I listen to the whole track, but i start reviewing after the 1st minute, so i can review the intro, and i like to be precise if i have a critisicm, like " at 2.52 the drums & vocals really clashed, could that be sorted?" so it help to review as i listen to the track, i can then review the exit as its happening and its fresh in my mind. I wanna try and make £5 a week, sometimes more sometimes less, i just do it untill i'm bored for the day and see what happens x

I get so bored sometimes and that's when I have to stop - when I find myself writign the same things over and over again.

I'm so annoyed as I forgot to bring my headphones in to work with me this morning so that has scuppered my earning potential. Might pop down to comet downstairs and see if they've got a cheap set I can keep here.

Well as i'm on 10p a track, i only have to do 50 songs a day to earn £5.

I do start writing when the 1 minute mark hits because I think I can judge a song after the first minute - i've spent the last 25 odd years listening to music and checking out various albums by only listening to the first minute of the song.

some songs i do listen to all the way through though, if they're really good.

It still takes me a good 2-3 hours to do 50 songs though.

To earn £5 a day on 8p a track i'd have to review 62 tracks. I spend about say 3 mins on each track average so thats 186 mins = 3 hrs 6 mins to make myself a fiver. Thats also before the phonecalls mid scouting, my daughter wanting my attention etc... I dont have the attention span to listen for 3hours straight to music lol!

I aim for £2.50 per day, which is 32 tracks, I do it while reading and writing on threads on here and filling in surveys - multitasking makes it pass so much quicker. I even stick STP on in the morning while I'm getting dressed!
