I know, some of them, I'd like to ask if they'd pay to listen to their own songs.

I'm not so bothered by really awful songs because they make me giggle, but really really boring ones make me want to throw things.

are you honest though or do you try and say something nice. sometimes i think that I would prefer someone be honest - sometimes you need someone to be blunt.

I play the guitar and sometimes write lyrics, my down fall being I can't sing....

So I can appreciate how hard it is to make a decent/different song, especially as a solo artist, and I probably sympathize more than some because if you actually listen, they aren't all that bad, they are just soooo samey! Thing being I know I'm not great so would never put myself up. I also have friends in bands who are really great, and they have worked so hard to get the wow factor. 2 of my friends bands should really be on this!

But yeah I have to agree with you, the boring ones do suck rather!

oh...Anyone know how I can find out my accuracey (sp...) or maybe i havent done enough reveiws yet.

How long are you'slots usually, I duno if mine are too small,usually 4-5 lines?

what do you say though to make 4-5 lines? I struggle at 3.

I am probably a bit too nice, but am beginning to start being a little harsher - its only fair - some of it is pure rubbish. Got to seperate the weak from the chaff. I have been trying to be constructive - but how do you say something constructive about screaming in the microphone . 'I think you should give up the dream' - hehe.

I'm the same, I know someone with extreme talent who should be doing something like this.

It must be hard though, being reviewed, I couldnt do it, not least because I cant make music but I would take it too much to heart.

maybe we should make a money saving expert song, all send in a recorded line and put it together - like to see the review on that ! haha.

lol! I wouldn't worry, I just had to tell some singers they couldn't sing....or rather they have some pitching and tuning issues and don't sing with conviction.....they sounded really rough! I wasn't quite sure I should put it like that though so I used some simon cowel....!

As for the lines, I tend to write in a stream of concious....I write as I think, so most of it is blabber, a bit like on here!

I dont know either. Sometimes I go into a ramble, think I have even said something as cheesy as ' I can imagine myself listening to this in the jungle/car/in a movie' - god, infact I know I did. makes me shudder now. Other times though my mind goes completely blank and all I can think of is the words 'vocals' and 'drums'. hahahaha.

I've said stuff like that. you know when you just think something but are not sure why. I'm like, this would make a good summer song..... or, sounds like the backing for a fight in final fantasy....meh. We shall see the verdict with the averages and stars I guess, I am just starting out, how long have you been doing it?
