Phew - made £6 today but only cos of some pennies still in the account from before and a refund of £1.80 still I'm counting it. As you say it was easier on 9p per track - its a hard slog at 6p.

Major compensation is that I've definitely heard much better tracks on this genre so far - the first 10 I heard went on my watchlist and I've been playing them whilst doing the ironing and they're all still there. I'm hoping to make an extra £5 this month to back someone and so far there are lots of contenders. If its all like this - and yes I do know that it probably won't be - then it's gonna be great. Only had two scaryvocalmen and 3 !!!!!/m.f/slap women around tracks too.

Enjoy your pie everyone - long may it last (though preferably with a rate rise!):rotfl:

I just had a VERY bad thrash metal number and started off with something along the lines of "eek, give that man a packet of Strepsils" Honestly, how do people sing like that without damaging themselves

I think I had that one a few 'songs' back, I couldn't understand a word he was saying.

The only word I could make out was "motherf****r" :rotfl:
  • I so can't get up the motivation to even join the scouting room today. It was bad enough that I am still a 2 star scout after 630 tracks but now I'm only getting 4p per song I just don't know if I can aford to be putting in that much time for not much reward.

I like listening to new music a lot but not at the expense of my relationship for a poxy 4p a song.
  • I was glad to get a rap song! I had been listening to so many indie bands that I was starting to worry my reviews sounded similiar, they werent even bad songs, but I just craved for something different in between.

Heard a lot of amusing lyrics, something about 'putting his severed head in a bag' or something.

god it's tough going tonight, this room is going to be a slog to keep at it when you get a bad track, the whole watchlist skipping on a track isn't working for me either, they must have got wise to it! determined to make it to £5 tonight, just another 14 tracks to go!

Think 'interesting...' is fast becoming my word of this room!

Mixed messages from you all on the room so far.
I'm not sure how much reviewing I'll get done this week as I'm busy preparing for parents evening this week! However, next week is half term and my OH is at work all day so I can STP till my hearts content.
Off to bed for now though.
Good luck all on your first day.
Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...
  • Oh dear god, just heard a complete duffer of a rap song. I take it back, dont want a break from indie if I have to listen to another song as bad as that. I've jinxed myself, booooooooo.
