I was the 10pm - 11pm website winner for the Virgin Pay Your Bills promotion! :j :j from this post here by tuppie - thanks tuppie! 
I am in shock, it isn't a lot of money as I didn't want to be greedy - I think it is just a one off payment. But the way I just found out is so surreal!
When MSE went dark last time I joined Facebook & MySpace so I could try to find MSE'ers & find out what was happening. Since then a few old work colleagues have found me & I don't really use it or think about it all that much.
I was just flicking to my emails & I saw an email alerting me to a message in my Facebook & thought oh someone else that I don't know the name of.....? Then I read the message & she said "I don't know if it's you...do you live in Gravesend? if you do you are on the Virgin Radio website to win money..pay your bills...you've got about 57 minutes from 10pm tonight to claim (Monday 14th Jan)"
I screamed, BF jumped up from in front of Xbox & ran over yelling 'what's up?' I refreshed the Virgin page & there was my name & town - I screamed again (think the neighbours heard this one
) I had 18 minutes left to claim & quickly put in my email & password but it rejected as I'd used a different one to normal! A few seconds panic then I remembered the password I had chosen & hit claim.
The page came back & said it was successful & to await the email - I've just had the email & am so giddy! I've already messaged the lovely lady back & said thanks to her - I don't even think I know her! What a lovely lady!
I asked for £85 towards my gas bill - BF just said 'oh you should have asked for more' :rolleyes: I am so giddy at £85!
So today has been rather fantastic! I posted earlier about a CITV win through the post, then after checking emails posted about the JD BBQ sauce boxset & now this! I'm going to bed before I faint from excitement!
