travel insurance (pre existing conditions)

Hi
Just found this thread, I find navigating forums difficult at times...
I was diagnosed with slight hypertension and high cholesterol.
After following an exercise scheme my blood pressure has come down to normal and the cholesterol slightly down.
(ask your doctor or practice nurse about this exercise scheme, as its not well publicised. It's called PACE, for those with any medical problems that could benefit from exercise; such as heart conditions, blood pressure, arthritis, asthma etc, and is brilliant!)
The question is: would I be classed as having a "pre-existing medical condition" for insurance purposes?
I have never needed medication for either of these problems, but if I had a stroke or something could they refuse to pay out?
PS I am nearly 60
Thanks
To be on the safe side, I would mention them to an insurer. That way if something did happen, they couldn't say they didn't know and refuse to cover you, although they may charge a slight premium.0
