    Hmm bit clueless when it's comes to Antiviruses etc, as what's right for one could be wrong for another it seems.

    Is it just a case of "try and test" or is that a bit naive of me ;). I installed AVG last night as so far so good *crosses fingers*.

    It's a personal choice like most things. Some tests show one to be better, others the reverse. AVG is one of the top free ones and you'll be ok, as long as you keep it up to date and compute safely. Most people never come into contact with a virus.

    If I was buying some anti-virus, I'd go for Kaspersky or got for NOD32 personally. However I'm very happy with AVG on my home system.
