Needless to say - I never did get my day in court and heard nothing further about the charge for the service that I never received. Satanta, thankfully became a victim of their own greed and incompetence and went bust with barely a whimper. I did appreciate the advice - I'm sure it was all well meaning but advice is just that and it did help me to decide to make a stand. It doesn't matter if it is an individual you are up against or a giant - check your facts and let them help you to decide the way forward. Or you can go through life allowing yourself to be bullied by all and sundry. By the way - the analogy of the parking ticket is pretty lame. If the ticket is valid then the law has been broken, end of story. Not paying for something that you never received - well, I'm sure you can work it out.
