Lease or car finance
Options
Hi am looking into the car lease as showing from my other thread! BUT some people have said to look round and see if there are any good finance deals..
The only place i will find the 2 cars we like are the dealers or Ebay garages.
Obviously the downside of leasing is that you usually don't own the car and finance you do but lose a lot of the value.
Also it will take forever to pay off finance as far as the car we want goes but haven't really looked around, wheres the best place to look as the dealer sites aren't very good...any reccomendations r.e the places off ebay?
Thanks

I am considering leasing as well...what do you recommend? Buy or lease?0 -
You need to do the sums.
Remember with lease to check excess mileage costs. With purchase you will have to pay the road tax whilst most leases cover that as well. It also depends on the deals around at the time (0% finance for example).
I am looking at Jeep and the lease is still cheaper than a PCP.0 -
Hi well we are still heading towards the lease side of things BUT we saw the car we want today on the forecourt of the dealers for just over £10k figured we could knock this down and the loan for it would be about £277 a month, the lease for a better one is £240 but we will never own it or be able to do anything to it which is why we want a really nice one if leasing!! the added bonus us adding the MOT and road tax makes a huge difference really and breakdown is covered with leasing... I don't know tbh and think in 3 years when paid off we will still get not a lot whatever car it is? Have you had any thoughts Lucy?0

I am really confused what to do. Obviously by the time the loan or HP is paid off and the car is yours, its not worth much. Leasing avoids that as you say with added bonuses.
What to do!?!?0 -
Can anyone recommend good car leasing websites?0

Most companies are on here now. But you can double check on Google with your make of car and "lease" also talk to your local dealer they might be able to offer a deal (not normally that attractive) but you never know.0 -
Hi looking at a few i found this to be very well priced:
