Can i please ask only people who need this apply as it's rare for people with coeliacs or gluten allergys to get free samples to try new products and there is often not many i would hate to think of 1,000,000 non coeliacs from the mailing list applying realising the bread is rubbish compared to normal bread and chucking it in the bin when it could have went to sombody with coeliacs who apricates it.

Sorry for the big writing had to get my point accross as this is very important to people like myself with coeliacs.

    Photogenic
I have applied for my GF who has a wheat and yeast allergy, not coeliac, but if you saw her bloating up 2 sizes in 20 minutes, having mood swings, vomiting and having discharges and her cycle starting early you would know it was genuine. I marked she had a yeast allergy too so if it has yeast in I will pass it to another person who needs it ASAP.

You need to be careful here. My OH who has coeliac is fairly sure that this isn't wheat free and the small print seems to confirm this. It states that the loaf contains Gluten Free Wheat Starch so if she has a wheat allergy as opposed to a gluten intolerance it may not be suitable.

My wife suffers with Candida and has the same problem. She is on a wheat, yeast and sugar free diet and has also been told to avoid eating mushrooms as they are a fungi. She has also been advised to avoid drinking wine, beer or anything that has been fermented, but that has proven a little more difficult for her to avoid!. Anyhow, what I intended to tell you is that she has found a bread that she describes as the best thing since ..... sliced bread!! It is called 'Hadrian' and is by a company called The Village Bakery. It is organic, has no added yeast and is made with Spelt flour, water, raisins & sea salt. I would mention that it does contain gluten and naturally occurring yeasts but she has never found this to be a problem. I believe the bread is available through health stores or see their web page www.village-bakery.com
Hope that this has been of use to your gf as I know my wife missed eating bread for ages. She described those Rice biscuit things were like eating polystyrene and cardboard - lovely!
  • Just applied for our sample, from the pic it looks better than the normal stuff we get, thanks.

My OH has been a coeliac since she was 9 months old, and we had the results back for our DD yesterday to confirm she is also a coeliac. She is 3
Told that our DS will probably be a coeliac also.
  • Yet another sample not available in NI!
