Fraud on my Barclaycard
Comments

I don't have any great love for Barclaycard but I don't think you can make any website 100% secure.
Depends how strong your password was too though I suppose. If it was password then it might not be entirely their fault!
Of course their policy should enforce reasonably strong passwords anyway.0 -

Found Barclaycard's whole handling of the situation to be a farce, and had to continually argue with them to get them to even bother to consider the possiblity of fraud.
I asked exactly how my password/address could have been changed by someone else and was advised that it was probably someone hacking their website.
So there you go, Barclaycard's own website isn't secure apparently! How reassuring!!!
You will probably find that the website is secure, but you had easily guessable details or that the fraudsters were able to obtain enough information about you elsewhere on the internet to obtain a password reset.
Either that or you have a keylogger or a trojan on your computer.
Have you ran any software to check for this?0 -
To log onto the Barclaycard site you need a nine digit ID number, then a passcode, then two random letters from a memorable word. If the fraudster "guessed" all that then they deserve all the things they've bought on my card!
I have scanned my computer, and have no problems.
This is entirely Barclaycard's fault.0 -
WOW-it always seems to be Barclays cards that are compromised!!0
