Best broadband for first time user

While you are looking around for a broadband supplier. Keep in mind that Skype (or any VOIP telephone system) will also count towards any monthly download totals if you choose a supplier that has one.
There are many cheap deals out there that have low download limits. If your aunt only checks emails on the net, she will not use up much of a download cap. If she is planning to use Skype a lot, this could use a lot of download space and she may find that she goes over the download limit for the month and will pay more because she is downloading more than her limit.
BT have just got in trouble for advertising free internet phone calls. One customer on a low monthly download limit complained that using this took him over his monthly limit, and he paid extra for a bigger download allowance, so the calls weren't free. BT have been told to change their advertising. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
