Yep, all over and done with, no hope for any further ambitions, aspirations or dreams...all done and dusted at the age of 21 and 27/68ths :rolleyes:0 -
Hi all,
Not been on here for a few weeks but it seems SP is still going on about the same thing, maybe all the threads could be merged into a superthread since they're mostly the same!
SP you haven't wasted your life, you are just starting it mate!
You are at a time in your life where you have lots of roads open to you but you need to find your way. You are one of the many younger people (not all), myself included when I was your age who didn't know where they were going in life. The answer
just get work experience + get paid + get out and enjoy yourself + roll with the punches and keep trying = life!
You can always change things, but sometimes you have to start small and give it time.
Getting down about it will just continue the cycle. Depression tends to result from people going that way.
Challenge yourself. My folks said the same to me years ago "son, you live at home, you've got no real money worries so just take your time and find your way. It's easy now while you haven't got a mortgage and a family to worry about"
8 years on from there and I've held management positions, project management positions, have represented my current company constantly at an industry level to prevent them being penalised by the ombudsman, etc etc. I don't always like the job and if you asked me 2005-2006 I would have told you I would gladly be on the roof with an AK-47 most days.
Thats life, you learn to adapt.
Think you've wasted your life when you can't get a damn job because you are too old for the employers. Now, those poor folks deserve to say that much more than you, don't they?:rotfl: It's better to live 1 year as a tiger than a lifetime as a worm...but then, whoever heard of a wormskin rug!!!:rotfl:0 -

Doctors can't get me a good job which I should have with my education and society expects me to have and if I had the success I should have then I won't feel like this.:beer:0 -

How about the GTP?
Schools are failing anyway, so it wouldn't do any harm
You would be hitting 20k after a year.
