Yep, true, no hope now...ever...just pull the duvet over your head and shut up

Maybe if I was braver I would end my troubles one way or another.

Phil, I hope you are not hinting at what I think you are, because that is not a nice place to be.

Yep, by joining the human race, taking a few risks and stepping outside the safe confines that mummy and daddy provide for you...like most people do!

I will still have nothing to offer to get a decent job.

If you have such low self esteem then maybe that is something you need to address.... getting a job means you have to believe you can get it in order to sell yourself at interview.

You seem to think that every1 has just been handed a job :confused:

I too , like many here, had no uni education, started in a REALLY low paid job and v gradually worked to wear I am now through sheer hard graft. I applied for soo many jobs before I got my break - in the meantime I waitressed/ did bar work etc.

Sitting around thinking I was rubbish wouldn't have done much good. Seriously - I am not trying to be horrible - but you should address your self esteem issues.

    What did you do?

The usual - Kant, Kierkegaard, JS Mills, Descartes.... Waitressed, washed dishes, had a Saturday job in a dept store, barmaid.

You know - I've b*ggered my life up so many times but hey, it's made me the person I am today. Hands up who hasn't?

PS - Is he always like this?

If I could rip the bloody degree up and go back to starting univ all over again I would. If I could go back to being 18, I regret and hate my whole life since I have been 18.

Yeah phil the whole long 3 years of it. You haven`t even had to have any responsibilties, paid any bills, lost anyone close, had to struggle............... The list is endless and you are moaning about a piddling job. Why don`t you just use your brain and THINK about how many more people there are in this world that are starving/struggling/hurting right now? You are one of the most selfish people I have ever had the misfortune to come across

Not really, but no one wants anyone to do that for free.
