You have to apply via the airlmiles site to get that offer0

and you have to apply once you've logged in to your Airmiles account.
I joined when it was 500 miles and as I wasn't logged into my airmiles account to make the application Lloyds wouldn't give me the 500 miles, but gave me a £10 credit to my card. I complained back to Lloyds explaining I only heard of the offer via airmiles and why would I apply if I didn't want the bonus. Still waiting to hear back from them.
I did complain to airmiles directly and they credited 500 miles within 48 hours. Still no word from Lloyds though and it's been since 29th December!0 -

I'm in a similar position. I applied for the 1500 Air Miles offer by clicking the link through from the Air Miles website. I waited the 30 days for the miles to materialise... nothing.
I contacted Air Miles about it who are claiming that I applied directly from the Lloyds TSB website which is rubbish. Unfortunately I don't have any tangible evidence to prove my point so I guess it's just my word against theirs. :mad:0 -
They have to prove that you didn't apply through them.
They both tried the same with me and I complained to both. They said no, complained again, gave me £10 credit, complained again and now got 500 miles from Airmiles and 500 miles from Lloyds
Just keep complaining until you get the miles. It's costs them upto £200 per complaint if they don't resolve at the bank, so is cheaper for them to just give the miles than have you complain outside the bank.!.0 -
Hi
I am in the same position, after having seen this offer of 1500 free airmiles if you sign up to LLoyds TSB Airmiles credit card I am still waiting to be credited. Who should I contact about this, airmiles or Llyods TSB? To be honest I would not have taken out credit card otherwise. I went through the link from this site which took me to the airmiles site. I am really annoyed about this so any advice would be great!!

Hi, got a result from airmiles.
They admitted that there was a problem with the link from this website which took you to lloyds TSB to apply.
They have now credited me with 1500 free Airmiles.0 -
That's great, how did you contact them, by phone or email? I think I will go on to the site and email them.

Yup, think the main article on this mentions that it's a voucher.
Good luck finding a flight that you can use - I'm having zero luck using my year-long air miles for internal UK flights to save me some money on business expenses"A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0 -
