    Afternoon,
My HHC lasted two hours. I was cleaning away thinking I was so glad i'd found this thread as my house is getting better and better. I cleaned my bedroom for the second time this year and thought there were probably years when I only ever cleaned it twice. Terrible!

Pollybear - hope your little mog is ok.

Wednesday - Master Bedrooms and Landings
    Level One
Strip bed linen and wash, replace with clean linen
    Check fire alarms are working
    Level Two
    Remove floordrobe from the floor!
    Vacuum floors in these areas
    Level Three
    Vacuum mattress
Clean tops of drawers and wardrobes
Extra mission tasks, as always if you fancy an extra challenge try one or more of these
    • Wash DSs bedding
    • Wash DDs bedding
    • Check through a drawer, throw out what should have gone ages ago and organise that drawer
    • Sort through anything that is 'stashed' under the bed, might aswell give it a vacuum under there while it's empty
    • Clean out that vacuum cleaner, make sure it's not clogged up with hair/fluff. Clean the filers if they are washable (after you have vacuumed and allow to dry completely before replacing!!!)
    • Clean doors including handles downstairs
    • Sort out bureau in bedroom
    • Take repeat prescription to doctors for DS
    • Buy paracetamol
    • Walk dog
    • make spag bol
    • Pay course fees
    • Shred and file for half an hour
And now i'm going to put my feet up and have lunch xx

My week has been !!!!!!ed up.

DH is at home with a bit of a fever (I cannot call it flu) and today I am suppose to do the master bedroom.

Do you reckon I should boot DH out of the bedroom for a bit, so that I can change the sheets etc, or should I do the bathroom today, and bedroom tomorrow (bearing in mind, he may still be ill) ??????

izoom.. I'd kick him out of bed, actually I'd have kicked him out at 8am when I got up! and given him loads of jobs to do.. he'd be out to work tomorrow lol.. I can't stand man-flu cases. What would you do if it was you?? there's your answer. Thankfully, on the whole my hubby isn't a huge hyperchondriac.. can't be doing sympathy. DS1 (16) came home last night moaning he had hurt his foot.. sock and shoe came off to show me.. I said ' oh yes.. very nice.. go to shop for me please' .. I refused to write him a note to get out of games.. but he'll just not take his kit. Sympathy is not one of my good points because if I am ill, unless it is serious, like when I had migraine or tonsillitis really really bad I shut up and carry on.. so that is what I expect from others.

Oh good.. I have time for another cuppa before I have to start flying..

Just quick post, as about to take DS1 to school...

Today I have done the weekly shopping, and caught up with the posts!!

I don't have very much of the list to do in the bedroom, as it has been redecorated just last week. All clothes in large clear recycling sacks (please note that OH has NINE and I have one:D ), and there's no furniture in the room other than a chair and a bed. I vacuumed yesterday when I was trying out the vacuum to see if it had just cut out due to overheating or had actually died completely. I have washed the bedlinen, and half is drying at the moment.

I think I'll make the new curtains this afternoon, as it is bedroom day. I have a pale and poorly DD occupying the sofa, so I shan't be out in the sunshine in the garden. Very wet out there anyway, although I can do quite a bit from the paths.

I have to take DS2 into town after school as he has a friend's birthday card to buy, so I may just pop into Boots to check there's absolutely nothing left in the store to buy...:D

    Hi everyone,

Awwwwwwww pigpen - such lovely pictures. PND is foul, though - feel like I missed some of the best years. Are you fully recovered now?

kazmeister - I'm so sorry you're feeling low - here's a hug just for you

LJD1 - that's great news about the volunteering - how long will the checks take?

I'm thinking I should join the weight loss thread as well, as some of my clothes are getting really tight, and I absolutely will NOT go up a dress size, so need to get it under control. If it's anything like this thread, I imagine the support helps buoy everyone up.

I had a lousy day yesterday:

    S/s bathroom
    made lunch
    Worked for 11.5 hours

And erm... that's it - lots of catching up for me today.

    Have a lovely day

    rumbly x

Thanks for the good wishes for my cat :) I have to ring at 2pm but I'm sure if there was a problem they would ring me and not wait until then. Although when my dog had to have an operation last year they rang me straight after, as promised, because they knew how worried we were and I was allowed to pick her up early :D She's my baby ;)

Rumbly - they say the checks are taking 4 to 6 weeks at the moment though I have a friend who had to wait 9 weeks. Fingers crossed it's quick!

Pollybear - only 30 mins till you ring about your mog! If she's anything like my cat she'll be making you pay for what she's been through for a day or two! Fishy cuddles for her xx
