Just caught up with the thread - haven't posted for a couple of days cause felt wiped out but feeling much more like myself today.
:grouphug: to all that need them
Had to go and babysit my lovely niece last night while my sis did the hospital run - and occupied her by getting her 'to pretend to be a house-elf' a la Harry Potter which is just code for her helping me with the washing up, cooking dinner for my sis and mom and cleaning her paints before she was allowed to make her pictures - I know it sounds like the slave trade cause she's only 3.5 but she loved it - she was even trying to shine the sink and washing up bowl - it's the best behaved she's ever been for me - a true FlyBaby in the making (now how to get her mum to be the same)
I've decided to go back to the dreaded Weightwatchers tonight as my willpower towards food and exercise has deserted me (or should I say desserted) - think that if the house is in reasonable shape, that when someone sets a HHC, I might do a HHE (half hour exercise) in its place.
Think I'll go on the lose weight thread as well - are any FlyLadys on there?I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Today's list:-
Strip bed and wash
Check smoke detector
Sort under bed and vacuum
Vac mattress
Vac upstairs
Remake bed
Clean door handles
Clean light switches
Wash up
Sweep kitchen floor
+
Send invoice to insurance company
30 min trawl for new home insurance
Sort coupon for WW
WW meeting 1900
Measure myself
Anyone up for a HHC at 1200?I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -

Morning all
Didn't really fly yesterday, just did a load of washing.
All the best to lilo, and anybody else who needs good wishes.
I've stripped my bed today, done two loads of washing and draped it round indoors. It's dry today but doesn't seem like a drying day.
Remade bed. Dusted all the bedrooms and vacuumed them all, then landing and bathroom and toilet.
vacuumed stairs.
Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.
Took cat to vet, she's having her teeth cleaned today. Hope there are no extractions or it will cost (even) more. I can ring up at 2pm.
Think that's it.0 -
