    Morning all

Been busy this morning, spurred on by the fact my DH was a complete door handle (wont let me type the work:o ) before he left for work. So I have:-

    KITCHEN

Wiped kitchen cupboard fronts & disinfected all worktops
    Done breakfast dishes
    swept floor
    Cleaned tiles

    Bleached down walls in porch
Swept and mopped floor in porch
    Hoovered lounge, bedrooms & hall
Sorted ironing pile into smaller piles (DD1, pants, tops, skirts etc)

    BATHROOM
    Wiped down paintwork
    Scrubbed bath, loo and handbasin
Swept floor (moved everything and did nooks and crannies)
    Polished tiles

    1 load washed and dried
Towels washed about to put in TD - DONE

Also popped to shop on way home from school shop for couple of bits, got more loo roll as Somerfield have 12 rolls for 2.49 at mo (bargain:money: )

    I still need to:-

Pop to swimming pool to pay yearly membership DONE
Pop to chemist for worm medicine:eek: DONE
Do DH:mad: repeat prescription for his inhalers DONE
    Collect contact lenses from Opticians
Write letters to Pop and Diz
Sew elastics in DDs ballet shoes
Get ballet bags ready (plus cheque for fees

Nan-in-law been taken into hospital, which is a relief. She developed a tummy bug on Thursday and has not drank anything since. MIL could not even get her to take sips of water but on call doctor that came out on Saturday did not want to admit her. She is 92 and has a list of medical conditions as long as your arm. MIL called him back on sunday as she was unable to even get her to stand, her blood pressure is really low (she is on medication because it is usually so high), and her heartbeat is irregular (again on medication for her heart) so he relented and they had to wait from anytime from 8pm till 1am for an ambulance to take her in. Am sure once they have got some fluids into her she will improve just cannot believe they left her so long:confused: .

Anyway, best dash to the shop jobs before I have to get littley to nursery and then dash back from my driving lesson.

Happy Birthday to all the birthday girls :)

Blowing a gale here but keeps raining on and off so the washing is draped round indoors - just one load today!

I've done the kitchen/diner - wiped worktops, cleaned cupboard doors, wiped top and front of cooker, tablecloth, windowsills, kettle, toaster and microwave. Cleaned drainer and sink.

Damp wiped living room and computer desk, vacuumed all through downstairs.

Took one cat to vet for her annual booster. She's going in on Wednesday to have her teeth descaled (more money) and then she'll be checked on Friday so that will be three times at the vet this week. Three too many for me, the vet is scary. I'm more scared than she is I think.

I hope this week will go by quickly for you Tracyg.

Shell, I hope your nan-in-law will improve soon. And, you iron pants? I don't know whether I'm shocked or impressed :D

    Coffee time now :)
  • OMG Tia, it's catching! I've just turned into a Money Saving Stalwart:eek: :D :j . The teas are on me  .

My DDs were 2 days early and on the right day. My son was 6 weeks early. No patience!

Cool coincidence! This one weighed in at 9lb 9oz  and was born at 00:30 :) She's now 5' 10" tall, starting out from 55cm long when born (measured the old way, round the curves). Now is that bordering on obsessive? :D

My friend was expecting her baby a month after mine was due, but her son was born 2 weeks early and was born the day before C so he's now older than her lol.

Having to quickly eat something as I am doing the muscle tremor thing associated with the low blood sugar again.. this is happening really quickly and increasingly often now.. for some reason. so pasta and a cuppa it is..
Off to school in 2 minutes for the meeting with foundation teacher.. but I can't find the paperwork I am meant to be taking with me!

DS1 was 5 weeks early (induction) and 5lb5oz, DS2 was 7 weeks early (emCsection) and 5lb12oz! heavier than his brother. he would have been massive if we got to term!

DS1 is tall and robust where DS2 is tall and lanky.

I have to say, I'd rather deliver DS1 ten times over than DS2.

I put stuff in the TD, folded a towel or two, sorted my hair and put make up on. So I am pretty but the house is mingin! :rotfl:
  • Oh no! Hubby is on his way home, and I am just off for a bath! Haven't lifted a finger yet today - except to do the kids's breakfasts and lunches.
