need an interest free credit card!!

Ok please help us...
We are a young couple who have £4K on our credit card.
It is interest free (Marbles) but it is due to run out and we desperately need a new interest free card to transfer the balance over to.

Who would be best to switch to?
It must be 0% interest on balance transfers.
We have no intentions of spending on the card so it must not be like Barclay Card where you have to spend so much a month to get interest free.

We are not bothered about spending we just desperately want to get rid of this horrible dark cloud hanging over us, then we can concentrate on our loan, mortgage and deposit on our flat that we owe! *phew*

I know you're a huge fan - but I think their on-line site is pretty useless. Can't BT on-line, can't pay on-line, balances take forever to update, and 'help' is convoluted

I love their cheques.
My BTs are always to pay off the Mint Card and use up my credit elsewhere then get more cheques and go round the loop again.

Are you going to each apply for a card - that way if the credit limits are lower you'll stand a better chance of covering your existing balance.

IMHO Egg are about the quickest/easiest to apply for 'cos it's all online.

Yes the Egg card certainly sounds tasty I haven't ftried one yet.

I am a huge fan of EGG. You can do all SBT online with no nasty fees.. Also there is the anniversary offer... I think they are cracking  ;D  ;D (sorry)

I am aslo a fan of LloydsTSB as they are interest free for a year. They seem abit cautious about who they give cards to but if you bank with them you should be ok

But Lloyds TSB have introduced handling charge for balance transfers from the 1st October 2004. Egg is probably the best to go for.

Just got my T&C from LloydsTSB advance card today.. No chrges in first 6 weeks for balance transfers... ;D

I do think it's very important for everyone to check there own T&C'S though.
