how can i transfer messages?

i just had new phone (samsung f700) on vodafone and i would like to transfer the text messages saved on my old nokia 6280 (on 3) to the new phone but i cant find way round it. i dont want to forward the messages as they will appear on the new phone with my old number rather than the number of their original sender. the samsung phone is unlocked so the 3 simcard work on it but the problem is the messages in the nokia are saved to the phone and not the sim card and i cant find how to move them from the phone to the sim card...any help please

Unless something changed in the last few months, you can't. You can from like phones (nokia to nokia) but not across brands, sorry

How can you do it from Samsung to Samsung?

How about either using bluetooth to transfer them across, or using the phone's external memory cards and doing it via your pc and card reader ??? I've transferred stuff using these methods before in similar circumstances...could be a bit fiddly, but well worth a shot.
