Hi, I've just installed Vista and can't decide which is the better antivirus?
Avira AntiVir
AVG
Any thoughts? It looks like AntiVir has the smaller memory footprint, is this right?
I've settled on Comodo for a firewall solution having previously used Zonealarm. If you think this is a bad move please say.
Thanks

AVG no contest.
Comodo is getting much better reviews than ZoneAlarm nowadays, so it's a good move.0 -
Which ever one you prefer. These are two good free ones0

Well I use Antivir and ZA, I've used AVG in the past thoughIt's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide

I use AVG free, I have tried AntiVir and Avast.
Avast- didn't get on with the interface, also the updates seem hit or miss, AVG updates perfectly.
Search the forum to find a heated debate re Antivir, it doesn't scan email.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
Iv tried them all Norton, Bit Defender, AVG but i'v got to say Kaspersky Internet. is the best of the bunch.0

Kaspersky is very good but it isn't free though. If I was going to pay for AV I'd go with NOD32.It's my problem, it's my problem
