Wireless Question

Hi,
I've got a Packard Bell E6100 laptop (on the 1/2 price deal from PC World first posted here a few months back).
I've also got a Belkin Wireless Notebook Network Card 802.11g.
I would like to set myself up for wireless access via my Tiscali broadband package. The Tiscali modem has a USB connection to the PC.
Question - what do I need to do/get to complete the set up! I was thinking of getting the Belkin wireless router to make sure there are no compatibility problems with the card but is the USB connection ok? Will it plug into the router or will I need to do something else to make the whole thing work!
Thanks in advance!

plug into asdl point in phone socket (through filter) and mains socket - no need for usb connection as its wireless, although you may need to conect with lan cable to set it up? not sure but i did with my netgear wireless setup which have a good name and easy setup.
i found it best to have win xp sp2 installed as well0
