Students & Employers can look for their local University based Jobshop through NASES
I think you may have to register to view the particular pages you need. Many job shops offer either a free or paid serivce for employers to advertise with students.
Employers - look at Job Shop Listings, for A-Z of institutions that have Jobshops.
Students - look at the vacation link for summer jobs through close to home
NASES - National Association of Student Employment Services
SEOTY - Student Employee of the Year
Hope this is of some help!0 -
Reed.co.uk is not only an agency - other agencies and employers can post jobs on there too = if you take a quick look it is actually a really good resource.
An agency I was with during my student years is Manpower - and they usually always found me some good jobs for decent pay. Not many going around in the summer for students mind you - I had a lot of work experience anyway so was a good bet for them! Ideally, register at easter and tell them you want full time work in the summer, and to keep you at the top of student list for work. My first job was nights at Royal Mail = and was a good test of whether I was reliable - I did two weeks then got full time interesting work in a Bank - which gave me some useful experience to get into the job ive just been accepted for.
