    SO far I have

Washed the washing at 30oC and am drying indoors
Decided to park in free parking 1.5 miles from town and walk down the sea front and back to get into town, saving on car parking expense.
Popped into Tescos to buy some lunch to have on the beach instead of going to the pub for lunch, managed to find reduced pasta and meatball salad, so for two people's lunch it came to £3.34 instead of the £20+ we would have spent in town.
Used some theatre vouchers to buy tickets to see Jimmy Carr instead of paying for them
Will make some banana bread for H to take to work to use up bananas and stop him buying chocolate bars at work
  • Today I have:
Stayed in - so had a NSD, except for doing an online Tesco shop of essentials only and finally got an £8 off voucher to work after trying about 20!

:( Oh my god I'm gutted just got an e-mail from uni to say that my library book is overdue from 5pm on Thursday - an initial fine of £2 and every hour is £1 on top of that... so I currently owe them over £40...I'm going to have to pay £6 to get to uni today just to return the bloody stupid thing which wasn't even useful in the first place. If I don't take it back til Monday then it will be nearly a hundred pound I cant believe how ridiculous their policy is!!!

Will they not let you restamp them online/telephone. We can do this with our local library?
    To their charging system.
    Reduce,re-use, recycle.

    Hi,

I never switched on my pc last night so didn't post.

Yesterday I spent £2.02 in Sainsbury's on ltd edition coca cola x'mas truck (reduced to 49p - cheered up DS3 who has chicken pox), 2 x 4pk coca cola, 3 x washing up liquid and a couple of X'mas tree bobbles with a chocolate inside.

Asda: 2 x 4pk of smart price toilet roll - paid £0.56 after using a 20p off coupon.

    Today:

    River Island

1 x body warmer (very nice too) - was reduced to £15 and it was the only one left. Noticed zip was missing so cashier said I could have it for £5 after checking with the manager. Later on as I was zipping up one of the pockets I found the missing zip and managed to fix it back on. :T

Also 1 x beautiful cropped waistcost reduced to £15 from £44.99 but when I got to the till it was £10. I had seen it a week ago priced at £20 but resisted.

    Sainsbury's spent £0.13

    2 x 4pk coca cola, 1 x washing up liquid

Put washing on and 30 deg and hung inside.

    Will do piggy clicks.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
