Well, it would be the most DFW thing to do, but I do like to give to the local charity shop - I feel maybe someone would benefit who really needs them?
I will go through my bookshelves though, and look to sell a lot of books soon... maybe that will make up for itI'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I will
- make food for christening tomorrow, should take most of my day up
- paid a bill, a large bill, £427 but at least there not chasing me for it now and thats it till June
Snaggles - keep going at the washable nappies, my boy is 9 months and has got used to them. Which nappy system are you using? He uses the tommee tippee cotton bottoms (similar to a brand they sell in mothercare, but forget what there called.) I found by 7 months he needed the largest size wraps. He gets on great with them, just use a disposable at night. I find they sometimes need bigger size clothing to accomodate the bulkier bum, but mine have easily paid for themselves now and I hate having to use disposables. Over christmas I fancied a break from washing them, he wore disposables for 2 weeks and went through one and half packs of pampers (bulk bought at makro of course, they do 4 packs of size 4 in a box for £20)0 -
Lol, I have actually got a 'real' one - today I am giving washable nappies another go after trying and failing with them after I had DD (now 8 months old). I bought a slightly bigger wrap, which was only £1.50 brand new on ebay, but in fact I haven't used it, as the size we already have seems to fit her better (no wonder I was struggling when she was a newborn then ). So, bearing in mind I paid £25 for them, plus another £1.50 for the new wrap, that brings the total cost per nappy used down from £13.25 to £8.83! I want to use the nappies enough times so that they have paid for themselves, so to speak, so I have to bring this 'cost per nappy used' down to the price of a disposable.......hmmm, quite a way to go yet, it's still the price of 2 packs of disposables!
Does that make sense or was I just waffling?
Yes that makes sense - I did the same thing when my DS was in cotton nappies. It was a good moment when I realised that the nappies were free! If/when I have another I will need to buy some new covers but the nappies themselves are all there wainting to be used again for no cost!

Today I am reading my free Fortean Times...it's Octobers but I've put my name down on the library magazine list so after 3 months I get their copy. It saves me £4.50 a month and neither me or my partner mind if it's out of date because it does'nt affect the articles.
I am making a HM Beef, Ale and Mushroom pie for tea instead of buying a pizza. So now we can have a bottle of red wine with our meal and it's still cheaper than a take away. I have some puff pastry left over so I'm going to make Cinnamon and Honey swirls for nibbles.
Instead of paying £3.50 per film at Blockbusters I went to the library and got a new movie for £1.50, so I also took out a CD I was going to buy and put it on my Mp3 player, saving the cost of a CD.0 -
