Internet cafe business ?

I am looking into it on behalf of a friend. He has got a plan to open up a Internet cafe plus telephone phone using by VOIP in London.

Im just curious to see if anything came of this or if any other MSE members run the internet cafe ? and what was the over come .

I had a friend who used to run one in France. He had to close it when his wife became ill and it wasn't practical to open it at the advertised hours. So one of the main things to think about, IMO, is staffing!

Well you should do a SWOT analysis check out what other internet cafes are doing in your area etc - EasyCafe pulled out of Mc D's though and if he can't make money out of it I think it will be a challenge. My gf did find a website with peoples stories on how they run their cafes
