QVC p&p charges

I'm writing this as much as anything to stop anyone else falling into the same trap I did!
There was a sale on and I decided to order two identical tops in the same size but 2 different colours. As I'd been on their website I knew if you got more than one of an item you got a discount on postage.
Wrong! if Id bought 2 white tops in the same size I would've got the discount, but I ordered a white and a lilac one.
They had to be identical in every way to qualify.
It's partly my fault as I've never put the cursor up to the bit where it says about the p&p charges discount, but then nor did I put the cursor up to where it said "clearance" either.
Worst part is, the tops have had to go back so I've paid out the thick end of £11 delivery and return postage, and I've nothing to show for it!!!

The postage on these sites is a moneymaker for the companies. An expensive mistake, but not for QVC." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

you dont have to pay for return postage - it is included in the original p & p charge. Call them and they will arrange for collection or send you a label. Official DFW Nerd Club Member #37 Debt free Feb 07 :cool:0

I think you are wrong....every item from QVC has a return label & postage isn't included.0 -

As far as I'm aware this only applies if the item is damaged or faulty or weighs over 4kg. Otherwise it's up to the customer to pay return postage.
Too late anyway, I sent them back yesterday.:wave:0 -

Not one I shall make again!
The tops were really nice quality but I evidently don't carry enough fat on the rest of my body in relation to my bust!Fitted on the bust but hung off my shoulders and way too big on the hips. Well, they fit round the bust, but not "above" it, very gapey. Not very flattering fit all in all.
My machine doesn't do a 30C wash required by washing instructions.(when I have to replace it I'll buy one that does tho'):wave:0 -
From QVC website:-
Provided that the item is returned in clean condition and in its original packaging, the purchase price will be refunded. You should allow up to 21 days from receipt of your returned goods at our Customer Operations Centre for your refund to be processed. We will normally refund you using the same payment method that you used to purchase the goods. Postage and packaging charges will not be refunded and customers are responsible for meeting the cost of return postage. This does not affect your statutory rights.0 -
