I asked abotu cpw price match over a year ago and was told they do not match redemption cashbacks but this may have changed by now - if you succeed please let us know

yeah, it seems this is the case with all the normal networks, they sneakily only mention this ONCE in a dropdown menu

its only seems to be on the 3G network tariffs that cashback is made into your bank account..

Please correct me if im wrong anyone as there are some ace deals on there and I really dont want to go with 3 but am not prepared to have airtime cashback..

Additionally I was wondering whether anyone thought it would be worth getting the phone and then ringing dialaphones cancellation dept., they might offer to give your cashback into the bank account instead of the airtime account as from what people have said on here they seem very keen to retain you on as a customer.

Carphonewarehouse, e2save, mobileshop, and onestopphoneshop all offer cashback, I think it's only dial-a-phone that do it via your airtime! ;-)

And for the original thread, I think carphone will only pricematch deals with no cashback involved ;-)

tried to get them to match two onestopphoneshop offer but they wouldn't, one they said cos it was on a tariff they didn't use and an incomprehensible reply to the second, this was before the took over onestopphoneshop

I got CPW to twice pricematch PAYG mobiles which were available at local shops. They did however call the shops to make sure the phones were in stock. Sweated a bit at that point!
