three valleys mistake but they are harrasing me/

Hi all was hoping for some advice re a prob with three valleys.Last year I didnt recieve me bill in Aprill when I would expect it so in may i called to request one,they said they had sent one but I had never recievedit.Come August and another 4 phone calls from me requesting a bill.I finally discovered they had been sending my bills to my old address although the the bill is for this one.(I have been here 2 years?) I finally recived the bill and installment book at the end of August and have only been late paying once.1 week before xmas I got a phonecall saying unless I pay the amount that was outstanding when I recieved the bill by 8 pm that day my account would be passed to debt collectors.I had no reminders surprise surorise they wereat my old address.I paid £50 on the day and they have demanded the rest (£147) by the end of jan.Does anyone know what my rights are.

So they send the bills to the wrong address despite four phone calls from you then threaten to pass it on to debt collectors if you don't pay immediately??

I'd ring and ask to speak to a supervisor and explain it. They should give you some leeway at least because it does sound like they are being unreasonable.

Hi I tried this but was told that there was no need as I do owe them the money and the address issue has now been corrected (i hope)
