I cannot believe i am writing this post, in this board of all places. However bizarrely i now seem to find 'factions' developing, accusing each other of copying posts, being snide, rude and the like.
Please folks, just stop, you're all such nice people, don't let it descend to this. Just take a deep breath and let it go. Start again and let it go.
I don't want to have to start monitoring the site for this type of things. I know people are upset, but it's not necessary.
And to clarify for all. Please do NOT copy from other sites, it is breach of copyright. I would hate it if someone placed my work elsewhere on the internet and passed it off. I am not saying anyone is doing it, but beware, it's also illegal. If you like what someone else has said, a brief quote and a link will do the job perfectly.
Please let this end here and lets get on with saving money, old and new style and enjoying the site

Why are posts disappearing without a comment?
I am neutral to the whole issue as I haven't followed it up and not entirely sure of all that's happened (and really I don't want to know, what's done is done and time to look to the future and all that...) - but surely if people's posts are removed the mod should put a note explaining why, no?
The posts that disappeared did not look offensive or threatening to me - unless I am missing something...
Please let's have a nice, friendly and democratic forum!

i have already apologised once, but will again for my post on the nettle soup thread, it wasn't meant to be offensive, and i apologise it came accross that way.

I think the things we should remember are
be nice to other moneysavers
there is no such thing as a stupid question and
innocent until proven guilty
franky posted her 'what has this to do with moneysaving' on a few different threads which was probably quite annoying,
but
when asked by the board MOD to start a new thread to ask this question, she did, in discussions, and in my view people were not as friendly as we know they can be to the point where the thread had to be locked.
She then responded by posting some great tips and ideas only to be accused of copying,
so she pointed out that a lot of posts on here were copied and not acknowledged, and also that lots of threads from this site are being duplicated on another site,
this may have been silly and a little petty but IF franky is a new member here and NOT a stalker as she has been accused of being she has been badly treated, so who can blame her for answering back. None of her posts seem to be offensive or nasty to me, and even her accusatory ones are all true, but some posts aimed at her have been although they have since been deleted.
Can we all respect Martin's wishes to keep this site a friendly one, and not go around accusing people on the boards, there is a way to do that without involving everyone, even after him starting this thread to ask for it to stop nasty posts have been left and then deleted.

There was only two posts put on here as far as I know after martin posted ,160s was one and was not nasty or deleted by herself,as for the rest of the situation there was a lot of people involved and to blame for the situation and most of all for its continuation, but yes lets all be nice to each other .I had hoped that Martins post would not be added to at all and that would be the end of it .
So maybe this thread should be locked and then it can be
