I was trying to look at a concert seating plan which requires java. I downloaded the latest version and java tells me I have it on my computer now.(windows xp)
Only problem is when I try to view the seating plan I still can't. I just get solid grey boxes.
Any idea what is wrong? Everything is enabled when I check.

Maybe you have an out of date version of java. You should always keep up to date with it for many reasons (not least of which is that older versions have holes that malware can exploit).
Follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update.- Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 to your desktop from here ……
http://javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=12798 - Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
- Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
- Check/tick any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
- Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
- Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
- Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
- Then install the newest version by double-clicking the update file you just downloaded to your desktop.
