The radweld is only half the price. I know it is down from £3.99 to £0.99 but you can buy the 250ml from wilkinson for £3.99 making the above 125ml worth £1.99 so the discount in my eyes is £1 or 50%, still not bad.

The normal grease tub in Halfords is £4.99, but in wilkinson is for £2.49. I have no idea how much it is with the trade discount.

I think you can get a hose repair bandage ( for the exhaust?) for £1.49 from Boys if you have one local to you.

Yeah it's now replaced the 120 piece one that is normally on offer.

The 120 piece does have some hexagonal sockets in it, they are the black ones, are there none in the 150?

As far as I could see from the picture (promotion on the store's window) there was no hexagonal sockets in the 150 set!

I have checked it out today. It has got some hexagonal sockets, meteric ones upto 13 and the other ones upto 1/2"

Figured out some rules appear to be

Halfords branded performance bulbs 20% off (extreme super bright, super bright, fast response brake light bulbs, rally bulbs [or whatever they're all called])

A couple of stores I have been to recently have clearance stuff out again. Nothing particularly brilliant but did get a tin of 500ml coach paint for £3.95 in the hope it's close to the faded red colout of my car that mixed paint doesn't match.
