Hi everyone
Today I used my money from Paypal that I have saved up from surveys to buy a much needed item from ebay, thanx to mandoo for your post about the Haynes manual, bought one from ebay and paid £8.99 for it, but only cost me £3.61 after my "credit" in paypal.
I also went to buy groceries, but ended up only spending £3.60, I really love the new me, the old me would have spent £50 on all sorts of groceries without blinking lol. I also made my dinner from the storecupboard and did my pigsback clicks.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
Cheers

Did my clicks and Onepoll.
Took home made soup frozen to work for lunch.
Saved money by not going for drinks with friends tonight because I was supposed to meet them in Bristol but only got as far as Taunton on the train and then was supposed to get a coach connection due to flooding on the line but stood for an hour in the pouring rain and dark with DS (who I was also taking to see his dad) whilst no coaches arrived and finally gave up in tears and got on a train back to Exeter. Not a happy story but I am trying to look on the bright side - I saved the price of a few drinks and now I just have to try to claim the train tickets money back!!!!0 -

Will do better tomorrow!
Glad you enjoyed a day pottering. Its nice to actually have a day "off" when you get a day off work rather than cram in so many things you are exhausted.
I also have a very mucky car that needs cleaning this weekend, think DS3 must owe me a favour;) :rotfl: .
Good luck with the decorating.0 -
I know that, strictly speaking, its Saturday now, but I haven't been to bed yet, so its still Friday in my head...and, today, I...

~ Went to my Weightwatchers class (don't pay because I help with clerking, so that £5.50/week saved), plus I was going to buy some Berry Bars, but my leader let me have them for free as a thank you for helping - another £3.90 saved! (and I lost 1½lbs:j, so was very happy, although thats not strictly DFW...!!:p)
