    Happy birthday Jo!

    Today I'm:

    Having a NSD :T
Bought lunch into work with me

Need to get myself sorted with clicks, surveys, competitions etc and ebay listings - works really busy and I'm still catching up from having people to stay over Christmas washing wise etc. so need to have a really good go at the house tonight.

Pigsback tip for you lot... I got a credit check free 30 day trial from experian, (make sure you cancel it - wasn't any hassle to cancel it at all) through PB and input a code they sent me, and got 800 points credited in 3 weeks (over xmas which is pretty good). Really easy points.

So I can now nearly order £30 of Boots vouchers when they come in stock!!

I had to spend 50p on tea as my milk had gone sour in the mini fridge (i only put it in yesterday!! date was 15th jan!) but will be saving £2.50 tomorrow by NOT working in the office (petrol saving).

Update spend diary tonight too and pay my debts back to my mum. (My cheque book is full of "pay Mum"'s !!)

Hello, I love this thread even though I'm not an official DFW. I like it because it's the little things that *do* make a difference

And wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JW

  • Day off today (yay!) so should get lots done.... famous last words, I should have known better than to tempt fate with them!
    Today I will:
    • [strike]return a printer cartridge I bought yesterday, and exchange it for one suited to my brand of printer [/strike]Yes
    • clean ds's room and give away clothes/toys no longer used No - will do it tomorrow...really
    • clean inside of car and wash carpets and upholsteryNo - in my defence, I thought I'd put it off until tomorrow afternoon as the girls will have muddy boots and stuff in it tomorrow morning...
    • stick to mealplanner and [strike]update spending diary[/strike]No - to the mealplanner, dd1 decided to cook dinner tonight, (probably after last night's fiasco!) so it doesn't really count! And she used stuff in the house, so DFW-wise, it was fine. Spending diary done.
    • finish stripping border adhesive from landingNo - although most of it is now done. The landing looks like a bombsite, so that will have to be done over the weekend.
    • paint landing (using paint I already have)No - well, I can't do that until the stripping's finished, now can I
    • [strike]Line dry washing[/strike]Yes
    • register new white goods and find out about extended coverNo - never thought of it - head like a sieve, me!
I hope everyone had a good day!
All I can say is I had a lovely day off, pottering about town, my dog is delighted with me because she had three long walks today - we had a beautiful day here, but crikey, it was cold.
    Will do better tomorrow!
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

  • I went to work on my day off (again) New years resolution to accept any overtime, however much I don't feel like it.
Did the piggy clicks. Got screened out of 4 surveys. Did the onepoll surveys.
Took my lunch and coffee to work as always.
I am having a day off tommorrow (please don't let them ring me up)
I am planning to treat myself to a newspaper. First one for 8 weeks. I keep falling asleep watching the news (because of all the work) so I need to find out what's happening.
I bought a shirt for my OH birthday in March, reduced from £8 to £2.40.
Put some leftover christmas stilton on basic 74p pizza for tea, very nice.
    Made a loaf.

    1. I had a NSD today.

    2. I drew up a budget for the next few months to pay back the remaining credit card debt so I have a debt free date to look forward to.

    3. I applied for lots of the freebie samples on here.

    4. I ordered online from Tesco with the £10 money off voucher they sent me and I ordered BOGOF on quite a few things.

    5. I applied for a Nectar card.
(I'm not quite sure why these are good, I didn't really read it properly.:o )

    6. I used the free text website instead of using my mobile phone credit.

I am feeling rather angelic at the moment.

  • I have
    - been for half price swim
    - accepted a mystery shop to do next week
    - come on MSE to keep motivated
    - been food shopping for a party on sunday, cheaper than venue doing it
  • Good day for me.
I spent £6.20 which was not in the budget, but it was for a haynes car manual I found on ebay. I don't mind the spend as it will save me money in the long run, doing all the little jobs to my car myself.:D

Other than that it has been a NSD to go with the last 6 days. Yay for me!:T
