- When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will: - Be having another no spend day.
- Check online banking - got some dd's due out.
- Meals from storecupboard.
- Do clicks - (anyone else found pigsback rubbish this week)
- Find the paracetamol and dequacaine that I know are lurking in one of the kitchen cupboards

I have gotten £10 out of slice the pie, and when I go to a party tonight I'll be taking my bottle of Coke Zero that is in the fridge, therefore costing me nothing (and meaning I won't have a filthy hangover on Saturday!)
I have a couple of food bits to get, but I shall stick to my list: bread, milk, clementines.
Woo!...I like my coffee black, just like my metal!

I'm at work 7-12ish and am going straight home so I'm not tempted to spend!
Also:
1. Cancel all my dead C/Cards
2. Search for a cheaper car insurance quote.
3. Phone to chase up £632 that the housing department owe me!
4. Make a meal out of the storecupboard.
That should do for now, unless I can think of anything else later.:TLiving a frugal retirement without treading on the planet :T

Won't be a nsd today, but on the bright side I am off to dig up this weeks vegetables from the allotment.
I've seen some cheap birthday cards so i shall go and invest in some of those. I managed 10 for £1 the other day, these are bit dearer but good quality.
DS Pottery is only £1.25 and i know where i can park for free.
I do need to go grocery shopping, but I am taking DD to her boyfriends (2 1/2 hour round trip:() so may have to go tomorrow morning. May be storecupboard dinner.
Wishing you all a nsd.

Morning all,
Day off today (yay!) so should get lots done....
Today I will:- return a printer cartridge I bought yesterday, and exchange it for one suited to my brand of printer
- clean ds's room and give away clothes/toys no longer used
- clean inside of car and wash carpets and upholstery
- stick to mealplanner and update spending diary
- finish stripping border adhesive from landing
- paint landing (using paint I already have)
- Line dry washing
- register new white goods and find out about extended cover
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.
