OSPS / e2SAVE / PhoneHut Calculator is back..
Options
I got a couple of phones 12months free on 12month contracts and noticed the on-line calculator is back.
I found in under the OSPS home page under contact us and in the FAQ there was a link in the question about the cashback calculator. Last year I printed this out and made copies to include with my airtime bill and to remind me, I circled the claim each time.
I logged in and clicked on the offer page it showed all the dates on the system for my phones:
12 Months FREE by redemption
Cashback Breakdown

Send month 4 claim between 1st May 2008 and 31st May 2008 £84.00
Send month 6 claim between 30th Jun 2008 and 30th Jul 2008 £84.00

I've found it varies from one contract to another. Sometimes it's like that one, other times it just tells you the month - and sometimes it's completely wron anyway. Useful for people to check and see if it's the same as the dates they have worked out themselves. If it does work and looks correct follow my groundrules; print it out and keep it somewhere safe!!!!0

thanks I got 2 phones from osps and they came with e2save vochers and paperwork.
I noticed the address on the paper vouchers from e2save was NOT the same as the OSPS PDF vouchers.
I'll call OSPS CS and confirmSeth.0 -
You'll be lucky!
OSPS IS E2save now, although the cashback processing is ALL done by the old Onestopphoneshop processors (UNfortunatly). They have long given up on even talking with customers from what i can gather (I gave up from my end 3 months ago after a load of !!!!!!!!!). Address are usually the same as are the vouchers nowadays. Having said that I haven't used Onetopphoneshop as such for a long time and it doesn't surprise me to hear they've found yet another way or muddying the waters. There are two Crewe addresses and I'm not sure which one to advise in this instance! You MIGHT have a SLIGHTLY better chance with an email - that way you DO get it in writing which is very important nowadays with them.0 -
I called OSPS earlier this week to query which address to use and was told that both end up at the same place!
Was told it would be preferable for me to use the address on the original vouchers.0 -
They will end up at the same place. However, in order to cpmply with the legal t&c in case you need to sue for any reason, what ARE the "original" vouchers? The ones from them look fine BUt the t&c also tell you to use the ones you download. They are, in fact, the same usually - but in THIS case there is a difference. I very much doubt it would matter even though they are pretty nasty now - but it would be better NOT to rely on ANY "generosity" from THEM!0
