I think "mobile junkie" works for them. You might want to ask him. In fact, if I'm right, he has worked for all the 4 major network providers in the past.
  • Lol! Not sure what made you think that? Never worked for any of them - although from a potential customer's viewpoint from all that I've read they would be my last choice to take a contract out with!

they are ok if you deal with someone who will offer good customer service and you go to them for help/advice. buying over the net/phone is a nightmare as the call centre in india is worse than useless.

  • Isn't just that. Was how they reacted compared to Vodafone when cashback dealers went bust. The fact their coverage is worse. Long ago I came across people who had big problems at the end of their contracts with 3 giving information out to rather disreputable third party organisations. Then there's the issue of the final bill - many don't get one and those who do don't get them at the right time and have final cashback claim problems. They also only seem to provide locked phones - and won't unlock them except possibly at a high price (Vodafone will at the end of the contract or so they have told me more than once). Since I only involve myself generally in cashbacks deals I prefer networks who are more reliable in those areas. T-Mobile seems the next worse (fair gap though!). I've never actually had a contract with either, though could have if the deals had been right. I've had major problems with Orange, Vodafone and cpw O2 (all of which I have got several contracts with) BUT at other times they have been excellent.
