Just got an email from Tesco - get Tesco car insurance and get 6000 points:

Pay with your Tesco Credit Card when you take out Tesco Car Insurance before 31 March 2008 and you'll receive 500 Clubcard Points every month for a whole year.
That's 6000 points in total.

Thanks for the info. Does using the code on the website actually work? As reading the info in martin's bit it says ring up and quote the code instead. Whether this works online would influence my decision to consider taking a Tesco policy out or not.
