Don't jest, there are many cars that have had their boots re-shaped in order to fit clubs... Jaguar XK8... MG-F... trouble is that drivers have got so long now (no, not the ones in the front seat!) that those manufacturers who didn't think ahead are now finding that their assumptions didn't leave margin for growth. Always remember my Golf (Mk4), it was a real diagonal squeeze to get the driver in!

And don't start on the chin / chest putters!!
