Just watched this, and it was even better than the programme. I think Martin was more relaxed, as it looks as though he enjoys answering questions off the cuff.

Thanks for the info, I missed the show too as I was away for work but I'll give them a call on Monday (just rang now & they are closed at the weekend!)

Just a comment about the argument for renting as opposed to a 100% mortgage. Martin commented that taking out a 100% mortgage would be the equivalent of renting the property, as the mortgage company would effectively own it. However, there is always the possibility that the property would increase in value, and therefore you could accumulate equity that way (which you couldn't when renting). Obviously if the housing market were static (or to go down) this wouldn't be the case.0
