Just watched this, and it was even better than the programme. I think Martin was more relaxed, as it looks as though he enjoys answering questions off the cuff.

Congratulations and looking forward to next weeks programme.

    Superb!

I missed the start of the main show, as I had to work late :(

Can I see it anywhere on the web or is it going to be repeated

Maybe you could give Channel 5 a call, they could advise you of repeats etc...

    Hope they can help.

I agree, I enjoyed this more too. :T

Martin and Ruth, I think you should show a picture of the itpaystowatch homepage next week and really emphasize the "It Pays To Watch More" programme!

Thanks for the info, I missed the show too as I was away for work but I'll give them a call on Monday (just rang now & they are closed at the weekend!) :)

I did just watch the 'It pays to watch more' & really enjoyed it! Have to tape it next week though as I'm usually out on a Wednesday night.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
  • Good show - I enjoyed it. :j

Just a comment about the argument for renting as opposed to a 100% mortgage. Martin commented that taking out a 100% mortgage would be the equivalent of renting the property, as the mortgage company would effectively own it. However, there is always the possibility that the property would increase in value, and therefore you could accumulate equity that way (which you couldn't when renting). Obviously if the housing market were static (or to go down) this wouldn't be the case.
