  • I thought Paul and Debbie were very good actually as they do have a grasp of elements of MSE but willing to learn more, you should have a watch of the IPTW More section here...

Old vinegar knickers was really moneysaving old style.

I use vinegar to make my towels fluffy and I also use washing soda to cut down on the amount of detergent for some washes - what's that make me? :rotfl: Mind you, I had never heard of those soap nuts she had! Wonder if they froth up in soft water? Off to Google them now and will certainly be marking my calendar to remind me to switch the TV on next Wednesday night. Might even have reclaimed part of a mortgage settlement fee by then, who knows? :D

Sorry, just can't stand Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee. Although I agree they did make good guests, and it was interesting to hear them talk to Martin afterwards.

    Lempit should be interesting though.

Have skyplussed on series link to make sure I don't miss any shows.

  • Thought the show was good a lot of information in a short time as well

The only thing i want to know is how did the man who won all the competitons win so many  when ive been doing about 30 a day during the last year and not won any perhaps he would like to send me a pm and give me some tips.

Well done Martin :money: on your show long may it continue.

A suggestion for your show may be to incorporate a competition in the show, just a thought.

Looking forward to next weeks show.

Many people's view of the world is down to their experience, perception and what they have been conditioned to,this isnt any old MSE reply this is a important and experienced MSE reply :rotfl:

That's another thing which did not ring true. The guy claimed he did comps at the rate of 50 per hour. That's just over a minute to find a comp, go to the website, enter all your details let alone think of the answer.

OK it seems to make good TV for most people judging by the comments, but I would not rely on it for serious advice any more than any of the plethora of TV shows on cooking, gardening, antiques, house buying etc etc which are first and foremost entertainment rather than advisory. I am disappointed that Martin has sold his soul though.

  • If you think that didn't ring true then you obviously haven't visited the MSE Competitions Board where the answers are posted along with the competition and the users there are a friendly bunch who help all new users on the quickest, easiest way of entering competitions.

Edited to add the IPTW website where you'll find links to all the items featured last night.
