Good Afternoon,
Please help, I desperately need a new washing machine but do not want to go and buy the first one I see, can anyone give me any recommendations of make and model that I should buy? there are so many out there, I just don't which one to buy, my budget is an absolutely maximum of £350 (would prefer cheaper).
Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
I never pay more than £300 and usually less than £250 and stick to makes like Indesit/Candy/Creda/Bosch/Hotpoint/Zanussi etc...in other words cheap ( but not the cheapest ) end of the market.
A spin speed of 1400+ is good to help get the clothes drier.
Try stores like comets and see if there are any reduced/end of line models to get more bang for your buck.0 -
I currently have a Samsung which has been fine for the last year however my nan and mum have had Indesits for years and they are still going strong!0

Hi, just been looking at these on the Which webbsite's new Jan 08 report under £300 best buys are JohnLewis JLWM1203 and AEG-Electrolux L62810.....I have had my AEG for 8 years now and although I don't want to jinx it it's been very reliable and ....quiet.A few of the John Lewis branded ones came out well depends on what spin speed etc you need.

Good info here on who actually makes the washing machines and which are better quality0 -
The big boys, Currys Comet and Dixons were selling Beko 1100 revs for £155 before Christmas. AND thru Quidco.0

After reading the same stuff on washerhelp as posted above, we went for a john lewis model for about £300, good load size, spin etc and a 3yr warranty.0
