Right have added that plus some other bits.. could someone do me a favour and check the links to make sure they're working.... have had to split it into 2 posts on the thread because apparently I exceeded the max 25000 characters allowed in a single post !Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Afternoon all!
Hey Keren, sorry to hear about AQA, their loss entirely!
I'm felling chipper lately as i've been helping my mum to sort out her finances a little. Things were really starting to get to her so we sat down and have done the following....
Cut her mobile phone package to PAYG from £20+contract every month. Tenner every couple of months will probably do her fine.
Paid off one of her clubbies from commision which she had sitting but didn't know she could use to pay off or hadn't bothered to ask.
Enquired about stopping PPI on her main catalogue as £15 of every £30 she was paying was getting eaten away on PPI. In fact the PPI came good, as she is able to claim as she's now not working and she may not have to pay off any of the debt, she's not to pay anything this month and they are sending her the forms to make a claim. So fingers crossed!
I do love sharing the DFW message don't you?!!! Some people say i'm boring but it's so liberating i think, and it's good to share!
I dunno about Quidco as i have stopped using it as much, the hit or miss nature of daily clicks was just too annoying for me! Same with Pigsback, i just have lost interest in them lately and have done quite well out of them at the start but once you've signed up for stuff there is little more to tempt you/keep you interested.
I used Quidco recently when i bought (my xmas pressie from OH) a ring from Tesco direct. It was a real bargain, i was looking for a diamond solitaire, reckoned anything from 1/4 to 1/2 a carat was going to cost me anything from £300-£500... i got a 1/3 carat 9k gold solitaire for £140... plus CC points and Quidco cashback (£8) i prefer 9k gold as 18k looks too yellow on me as i'm fair skinned. I haven't got it yet, but will let you know what it's like when it arrives.
It is not an engagement ring... just a ring for an old bird he said!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Ummm
!!!!!!? that one comes in very handy I find
No...that's too passive... FOAD is a good one as is her sister ESAD...."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

She's threatening to send explicit emails between me and my current to her Government boss. And some of the content is not exactly vanilla.
This is where Toto's !!!!!! comes in.Computer_Misuse_Act_1990 wrote:2/ Unauthorised access with intent to commit or facilitate commission of further offences
(1) A person is guilty of an offence under this section if he commits an offence under section 1 above (“the unauthorised access offence”) with intent—
(a) to commit an offence to which this section applies; or
(b) to facilitate the commission of such an offence (whether by himself or by any other person);
and the offence he intends to commit or facilitate is referred to below in this section as the further offence.
(2) This section applies to offences—
(a) for which the sentence is fixed by law; or
(b) for which a person of twenty-one years of age or over (not previously convicted) may be sentenced to imprisonment for a term of five years (or, in England and Wales, might be so sentenced but for the restrictions imposed by section 33 of the [1980 c. 43.] Magistrates' Courts Act 1980).
(3) It is immaterial for the purposes of this section whether the further offence is to be committed on the same occasion as the unauthorised access offence or on any future occasion.
(4) A person may be guilty of an offence under this section even though the facts are such that the commission of the further offence is impossible.
(5) A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable—
(a) on summary conviction, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum or to both; and
(b) on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to a fine or to both.
So "hacking" followed by blackmail/intent to blackmail = up to 5 years in prison. You have the gun, you have the ammunition - the choice is yours whether you pull the trigger."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
