afternoon all

was meant to be going to a friends for lunch but FAR too cold and miserable to go out so am sat here freezing instead LOL. Just baked a nice big batch of chocolate fairy cakes so at least the kitchen is hot (also cooking tonights tea at the same time since the oven is on anyway.

Sorry to hear about aqa Karen. Keep plugging away, it obviously wasnt to be. I have an interview on Wed for a temp post but thats about it. Going to hit some of the recruitment sites now. I think the blanket approach will work best now.

lol at Taka and Snaggles..........no, no weird cryptic messages being sent across the internet.

I have an 'agreement' going with my posty - he signs for anything that needs a signature (or in fact any package) and he usually pushes it halfway through the bath room window if I'm not in. It always makes me jump when I go in and see something hanging through!!! Saves on those annoying red cards and re-arranging delivery.

The bathroom window is closed at the moment but the loo one is open and Toto has sent me a package. He's signed for it and when I went into the loo it was hanging through the window - made me jump even more than normal!!!!
