So, who's going today then? Let us know what you got and whats left... :D

I've been fortunate with my first 75% off Boots sale as a relative newbee (thanks mse!) I got all the products I wanted on my online order and went to my two local Boots stores (Leamington Spa) yesterday and got some more bargains. I walked about 2 miles in the wind and rain for my bargains like a true mse! :rotfl:

I've got a question though. Did anybody buy the 'Game of Life' reduced from £29 to £7.50? I nearly did but decided our games pile is on the verge of toppling over so NO MORE! The reason I'm asking is because it had a sticker on the sealed package saying £150 off a (particular brand, can't remember which one) holiday. I wondered whether I should have got it for that. Has anybody got it and could they check the deal for me/us? (Although I suspect they'll be a mad scramble for that game now if the holiday deal is any good! :D)

some badger sets at bury st edmunds, crackers and little girly hot water bottle covers. loads of ted baker radio sets and girls no name make up. had lots of the illuminaing powder but no wipes so have to buy a product. they did have those old fashioned lip/eye palletts for £4 and £5 but not good value really compared to normal stuff.
A happy wife, and mum to 2 lovely little boys :j
  • Not fair....took yesterday off to go to the Boots sale, and ended up not going on account of helping someone........................

Will try and see what's left at the retail park when I go for lunch...not holding out much hope :(

Yesterday - shop assistant put out a huge display of Simpsons items, Homer bottle openers, socks, and other bits. The ladyt in front of me just lifted the entire shop display boxes off the shelves and put them all in her basket! The whole lot in one go! Who can need 20+ Homer bottle openers? I only wanted one........ She must have had about 30 socks too........ Didn't know if to admire her or poke my tongue out at her!

I did get a wok set for £3.75, a toddler mobile toy for £1.50, a set of make up brushes for £3.75, a bag for £3, and a leather pen set for £2 so I left only sulking a little
To those who are given much, much is expected

        £2025 in 2025 = £680.60

She may have been buying for a charity or as presents for a school or hospital only when we have a party for our kids (disabled kids)we do tend to buy a load of the one item so keep that in mind, that should stop the sulking!!LOL

:rotfl: :rotfl: hubby would be impressed if the children bought home a homer bottle opener from a school party, he has always wanted one :rotfl:

          4. Just thought I would say that these sets are really good, I bought a couple to give out as pressies later this year but my DH opened one up for himself as he wondered about the speaker quality for his ipod. IMO The quality is really good and sound is perfect for hotel room, poolside etc.

I've to go and try and buy more apparently as he wants to give some more out as "cool" pressies

Just to clarify....the Ted Baker In Tune sets do not include a radio, but a set of speakers (which fold together to form a tennis ball shape/size) and they connect to MP3 players/Ipods etc as portable speakers. They are great. Worth the £3.75 just for those.
          6. Hi, I finally got my order today. I ordered the elc dino valley. Just checked it out of sight of ds(out it by for his bday) and the corner has been squashed in.
