Well, went to the pine place today - the bed we could have as a replacement is not a patch on the one we have!!

So, after a discussion with hubby decided to ask the manager for some money back instead and stick with the bed we have - hubby will have to just repair it a couple of times a year... :-/

Manager is going to phone us in the week with his "offer"...
