Credit Card arrival

So annoying.... still not had anything.

I applied on the 3rd! Spoke to them tonight adn was told it takes 14 working days.

Explained I sent it back to Bradford on the 7th (I am in Bradford!)

Told me they are not processed there (so why do they have us send them there???).

Told me it would be 14 working days from then. Explained 14 working days was the 25th and it is now the 30th.

Said it should be here soon but am just getting more and more peeved off with them especially seen as I have received a letter from them today asking if I would like a loan!

I got mine 2 days ago, sounds like they've made a right mess of your application. Can't believe how much more efficient Barclaycard are, 4 days from application till receipt of card. Within 5 days I'd transferred a balance and set-up the DD. No hassle whatsoever.

On one of my calls to Abbey, asking where the card was ( it was at the embossing stage apparently ), I quizzed the advisor about my credit limit, which he duly told me without any fuss. 2 days later I phoned to check my credit limit again, just to make sure, at which point she said she wasn't able to tell me the credit limit !

After my phone call last night I have received a letter from Abbey today supposedly sent on the 12/1 saying I need to send ID in.

I've check the original application from they sent me and there wasn't even word saying I need to send any ID!

Sending that to them tonight (Back to Bradford I might add - where this letter has come from).

See how long this supposedly takes now eh!
