I heard that if you request to have XP in some places, like Dell or pcworld then they will put in on for you, however i think some places charge (god knows why!) But im sure with some persuation you could get it for free, as it doesnt really make much difference to them.Never knock on death's door, ring the doorbell and run away ..... he hates that :mad:0

Have you already got a copy of xp? If you do couldn't you get a local pc shop to put a system together for you, and install your xp?0

try www.dmxdimension.com - they will have links to all dell deals inc those with xp0

You can always change it when you get it. If you can get any xp disk you can beg borrow. Install that and when you get to activate it dont do it over the internet, give them a call on the freephone number and tell them you have changed to xp. They will ask you for your vista key and if legit will activate xp. This is non reversable unless you buy a copy of vistaNudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0

Why don't you like it? The reason I ask is, if you find it sluggish, then a new computer running Vista will be far better and quicker than what you have now.0 -
yea, its quite slow, and I prefer the xp interface as well. Also does vista uses power and resources than xp?Sorry No Links in Signatures by Site Rules - MSE Forum Team 20
