Dell were doing one, but I dont know if they still are. I believe it was in the business section.

I heard that if you request to have XP in some places, like Dell or pcworld then they will put in on for you, however i think some places charge (god knows why!) But im sure with some persuation you could get it for free, as it doesnt really make much difference to them.

Have you already got a copy of xp? If you do couldn't you get a local pc shop to put a system together for you, and install your xp?

You can always change it when you get it. If you can get any xp disk you can beg borrow. Install that and when you get to activate it dont do it over the internet, give them a call on the freephone number and tell them you have changed to xp. They will ask you for your vista key and if legit will activate xp. This is non reversable unless you buy a copy of vista

Why don't you like it? The reason I ask is, if you find it sluggish, then a new computer running Vista will be far better and quicker than what you have now.

yea, its quite slow, and I prefer the xp interface as well. Also does vista uses power and resources than xp?

You say that but Vista is far more memory intensive than XP! 2gb is really needed with Vista I'd say.
