MONEY MORAL DILEMMA: Should Ken ‘save’ Deidre’s kids from being taken into care?

I would have to give her the £10. It may be scam , it may not be. Possibly her kids wouldn't be taken into care over this. Possibly its just a routine check and she doesn't want a black mark against her file. Maybe she is just over reacting. And maybe I am just naive.
I had 'borrowed' £20 years ago from a guy in a pub, never knew him at all. My friend had 'left' early with someone and had taken all the cash. I couldn't get home. If it wasn't for the guy I would have been left miles from home.
I know I should have been organised and had cash on me, but we were young. I took the guys phone number and met him the next day and gave him his cash back.... I was so grateful to him (but not that grateful).
So yes I would part with the £ 10. You just never know .Good manners cost nothing -Bad manners cost friends !Murphys No More Pies member #2130 -
I'd give her the money. It's a 50/50 risk - she's either genuine or a scammer.0
