Go away jojo!
Just get the money into the LL on the correct date, its not hard to do. LL is worried that your begining not to pay your bills. 2 Weeks interest is nothing compared to being kicked out on your ear because your not paying your bills.0 -
Thanks for updating jojo2004, glad to hear all is sorted now
Dont worry about the local school yard bullies in here, just ignore their non existent drivel, although it's quite amusing when they're "debating" among themselves

Cheers Cate - I've noticed a correlation between inability to spell and ability to say mean things, which makes me feel a bit better! Sad childhoods, I imagine.
xxIf at first you don't succeed, then sky-diving isn't for you

jojo - we have already established you are not coping ......
""Having had the standing order fail three times in the last eighteen months""
you are simply not taking responsibility for your finances - and shouting at me will not make those responsibilities go away
Giving people honest and blunt advice - which they often don't want to hear - is often more helpful than platitudes saying "poor thing - nasty landlord"
you signed an AST and you are not fulfilling your side of the contract ........
Banks will tell you that cheques clear in 3 days ( not including day of deposit and day of withdrawal) - work it out - that means a whole working week - in effect 7 days - and no matter how resentful we all are that they make money from us - this is the reality of our banking structure at the moment - if you continue to behave so foolishly, then sooner or later a LL will just give you notice.0 -
Why are some of you having a pop at the OP??
Incase you didn't read the OP, they are living with 3 other people, all of whom are liable for the rent!
You're telling the OP off like a little kid, but how do you know the SO didn't fail because of the other housemates?? How do you know the OP wasn't asking on behalf of ALL of the housemates??
It's sorted now, OP has come back to update, and they are getting told to go away???
How immature :rolleyes:Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
I'd tell the LL that I'd made the change and then do what I wanted to do anyway. Everyone's happy that way.
My LL got annoyed that I was paying my rent late. Turned out it was the LA not bothering to pass it on in good time.0 -
"" You're telling the OP off like a little kid, but how do you know the SO didn't fail because of the other housemates??"" - that was one of the first things i suggested !!!!!!!0
