To scared to open letters am i the only one?

Quite a bit of what is written in the letters sounds very scary but in fact often it isnt very real, they just want you to be scared into paying. CCCS are fantastic and as others have said once you've done the scary bit it becomes much easier. at the end of the day the letters are computer generated, there's not someone writing personally to you thinking what a bad person you are, the phone calls can be horrid and sometimes surprisingly nice and helpful but again they are only people, they dont know you and they are just doing a job. I tell them i am recording the call and then they are pleasant and short!Once your DMP is up and running you should have no more nasty letters or calls, it's 6 months since Ive had any and I have 8 creditors and a HUGE debt! Good luck and well done for getting this far the rest will be a piece of cake ( well rather a large piece but much better than being in denial!)0
